Reviews

Film Night
The best and one of the worst things about this film are the characters. Firstly the worst bit. Steve Buscemi is totally wasted in such a small part. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of Buck Cracker (great name). The two uncast, internet buddies - Hotshot and Viper - got a bigger crack of the whip. - The best bit. Each and every one of them is hilariously ridiculous, especially Grandma Elvis, this character will surely go down in VP history as one of the most original characters ever. The plot goes a bit haywire and over ridiculous, but never in a cheesy way. You kind of get the feeling that you are being dragged along a bit quicker than you would like, but you never get too far left behind. The comedy is outstanding - corny songs - bible bashing beauty consultants - doped to the eyeballs neighbours - crazy computer nerds - fast food freaks - the list just goes on and on. It was a bit of a wait before this was finished but it was more than worth the wait. Suburban films have certainly proved again that they are a force to be reckoned with.
